Scott Air Force Base

In 2012, Bob Chapman invited General Raymond E. Johns, Jr., Commander of Air Mobility Command, headquartered at Scott Air Force Base; to take Communication Skills Training (CST) in St. Louis, Missouri.  After General Johns completed the course, he realized how impactful the course would be for the 100,000 plus Airmen under his leadership at 13 different bases around the world.  That year, Team Scott began offering Communications Skills Training to the military, civilian, and family members on base.

Scott Air Force Base was the first CST Program OCL launched.  Since that time, Team Scott has had 24 facilitators and over 1,800 course graduates now serving around the world.  Today, Team Scott has six facilitators changing they way we lead, listen, inspire, and connect world-wide.

Communication Skills Training is a three-day class that combines classroom instruction, experiential activity and group discussion.  The capstone of the course is focused on counter-intuitive but extremely effective skills, including reflective listening and effective confrontation using empathy.  Through this deeply personal exploration of how you listen, relate, discern and communicate, you will discover more about yourself and how you interact with others; ultimately improving your personal and professional relationships practicing these "Truly Human Leadership" Principles.
