Your role with OCL? As the Innovation & Quality Leader, is it my privilege to care for the PEOPLE of OCL on every level. I get to do this by celebrating and recognizing them, connecting them to facilitate innovation and collaboration, while ensuring our quality of care and delivery is never compromised. I steward the gift we have been entrusted with by ensuring that we are maintaining excellence and creating an exceptional experience for all who touch and are touched by OCL.
Day job/career: Outside of OCL I am a Daughter of the King, a vessel of Shalom and a carrier of His Presence called to love others and reveal the Glory of God in this world. I am mother to 4 beautiful, talented, compassionate and utterly amazing women, and wife to an incredibly sensitive, kind, patient, creative, gifted Man of God.
How do you most often find yourself using what you learned in CST? It's safe to say that I use the skills I learned in CST every day. Opportunities to practice those skills exist in every part of my world, at home (which is often the hardest), at work, at the market, and pretty much wherever I go. I certainly do not do it perfectly, but I remain aware and try to learn, that is simply part of the process of growth. By being intentional to workout my listening muscles every day, and asking for a “redo” when I don’t do it well, I am making my skills stronger and they slowly but surely have become more and more of who I am.
What is your favorite book and why. The Bible – it is the greatest love letter ever breathed!
