How did you become involved with OCL? I had a brilliant leader who put her soul into caring for others and giving them the gifts of her time and attention. When I heard that she was an OCL professor, I knew had to sign up for CST and check it out. The truth that I experienced during those three days was so profound that I HAD to be a part of it, and give my time and talents to OCL in the hopes that I could help to heal others.
How do you most often find yourself using what you learned in CST? Usually with my wife or my band mates, as those seem to be the most emotionally charged relationships that I have. Blending the skills learned in CST to any basic level of emotional intelligence can really create an environment where people are respected and listened to.
Three things that make you smile. God's unchanging faithfulness; my family; gaining a more holistic understanding of something that I thought I knew well enough.
Your idea of a great day. My idea of a great day would begin with an early morning breakfast and coffee with my wife while our kids destroy the house, followed by a round of golf (and of course a nap). Then I'd pack up the family, and off to the park we would go. Some fun, laughter, and quality time, surrounded by God's creation. To end the day, I would love a couple of hours to hang out with my wife after our kids FINALLY go to sleep!
