Day job/ career:
Life Coach with Self Love Beauty. I have a passion to see my clients grow to become what they want to be. I am willing to co-create a relationship with my clients that will guide them on this leg of their journey.
What is your hope for Our Community Listens?
When I see the impact this organization is having on the lives of its participants, the more I believe it really can change the world. One person at a time, when we listen to hear and understand with compassion, this is when conflicts, big and small, personal and corporate, locally and nationally and beyond, are going to be resolved. The problems are doable if we could just find a way to connect and relate, which we are designed to do. If you ask me to say what I hope for Our Community Listens ……it is to change the world.
How do you most often find yourself using what you learned in CST?
Initially the CST skills were incredibly instrumental, and continue to be, in my marriage and family. Every last skill and concept is applicable. Professionally there has become a comfort of working around others striving to grow in the skills as well. It is also great to refer my clients to class and see the transformative change happen in them. Lately though a cool thing has been brought to my attention……The more empathy, compassion, acceptance I have for and demonstrate for others in my communication, the more I am having for myself. It is like a gentle method of personal growth as I can’t have for others what I don't have for myself. Practicing the skills for others has given me the gift of self.
What are three words that describe you?
