Day job/career: Climate Action Manager, City of Aspen, where I focus on reducing greenhouse gases and energy. I love working for the City and serving the community. I feel lucky to have the opportunity every day to make positive contributions to our community so that Aspen remains a place I’m proud to call home.
How did you become involved with OCL? The City of Aspen believes the OCL concepts are core to the way we do business and we are always looking for ways to support the local OCL courses. A few years back, OCL was looking for more professors so the City of Aspen offered my time as an in-kind way of supporting OCL.
What is your hope for OCL? That we can actually enact Bob Chapman’s vision of changing the world by creating better listeners and better people, one individual connection at a time.
How do you most often find yourself using what you learned in CST? All the time! With my husband and family and also to be a better and more caring leader at work. I’m sure I’ll use it most with my son, Oliver, once he’s talking (he’s only 2 months old right now).
Three things that make you smile. Mornings with my family, runs with my dog, sunsets at Lake Powell
