Day job/career: I am the owner and director of a learning center and work at Christ Church in Adult Spiritual Formation. In both my roles, I develop people and programs that focus on helping people to be the best that they can be while challenging them with new ideas and novel ways of walking in the world.
What is your hope for OCL? My dream is that OCL will continue to bring hope and healing into the world by spreading this message of people-centric leadership through developing professors who live the CST material every day! I am inspired by new professors embracing the skills they have learned and sharing them with others.
How do you most often find yourself using what you learned in CST? Each day I see how my CST skills have enabled me to see, hear and understand people in a new way. I find myself using my CST skills whenever I meet or talk with someone with a different perspective or differing opinion. When I choose to accept others and seek to understand rather than rush to judgment or impatience, I see my CST skills being used as a force for good in the world.
Three things that make you smile. Time with a good friend, being with my family, and the warm gentle sun on my face.
